Made in Ecuador with premium beans. This virgin butter is not deodorized, so it retains the delicious chocolate aroma with its natural characteristics. Natural cocoa butter is widely used in the cosmetics and soap industries. It is believed to be good for scars, stretch marks, and wrinkles. In the food-industry, it is used to make wonderful white chocolate.
Cocoa butter is normally hard at room temperature and melts at body temperature. To soften it, simply microwave it shortly before use.

Shipping disclaimer: Occasionally during summertime - or warm weather in the country of origin when shipping the container - some of the Chocolate, Cocoa Butter, and Cocoa Liquor/Mass might melt some during shipping. We do not use cold-packing materials for regular shipments because we try to keep our shipping and packing costs low in order to give our customers the most competitive prices. This should not affect any of your baking/cooking applications. We are not responsible for bloomed or melted products. Customers must consider weather conditions before ordering.

Therefore, our products are shipped everywhere without refrigeration regardless of weather conditions.
This, however, can cause FAT BLOOM and some melting together in some cases. BUT THIS WILL NOT AFFECT THE USABILITY of these ingredients. For that, we do not refund, exchange, or accept claims based on fat blooming, melting, or the appearance of the products. Otherwise, we would not be able to deliver products during warm weather.
Please note that fat bloom looks like greyish/whitish lines or spots on the chocolate/paste. It also has a sandy/crumbley texture. Once re-melted, it can be tempered again and can be used without any difference.
COLLECTION OF TAXES (VAT):
Taxes are calculated based on the shipping address according to each country's VAT rate.
Please be advised that taxes will be collected as follows:
a) If you are in the Netherlands, we will always have to collect taxes.
b) If you are in any other country of the European Union besides the Netherlands, and you do NOT have a valid VAT number for your business, we will have to collect taxes according to the rate of your country.
c) If you are in any other country of the European Union besides the Netherlands, and you DO have a valid VAT number for your business, please add it in the left bottom field at the check out. We will verify the validity, and we will not collect taxes in that case.
e) If the delivery address is outside from the European Union, we will not collect taxes.
