We sourced these flavorful cacao beans from the remote region of Matagalpa in Nicaragua. The small co-op we worked with had never been able to export themselves. With our help, we were able to help to acquire all the permits and guided them through the procedures to be able to bring this hidden gem to you.
Please note that only the 25 kg bags are Organic Certified. The 3 kg bags are made with organic certified beans, but lose the certification due to the repacking.

CocoaSupply is an INGREDIENTS supplier. For that, the appearance of products is not as important as it is to have the most cost-effective shipping options to our customers to make the ingredients the most affordable without sacrificing ethical integrity and quality. Therefore, our products are shipped everywhere without refrigeration regardless of weather conditions.
This, however, can cause FAT BLOOM and some melting together in some cases. BUT THIS WILL NOT AFFECT THE USABILITY of these ingredients. For that, we do not refund, exchange, or accept claims based on fat blooming, melting, or the appearance of the products. Otherwise, we would not be able to deliver products during warm weather.
Please note that fat bloom looks like greyish/whitish lines or spots on the chocolate/paste. It also has a sandy/crumbley texture. Once re-melted, it can be tempered again and can be used without any difference.
COLLECTION OF TAXES (VAT):
Taxes are calculated based on the shipping address according to each country's VAT rate.
Please be advised that taxes will be collected as follows:
a) If you are in the Netherlands, we will always have to collect taxes.
b) If you are in any other country of the European Union besides the Netherlands, and you do NOT have a valid VAT number for your business, we will have to collect taxes according to the rate of your country.
c) If you are in any other country of the European Union besides the Netherlands, and you DO have a valid VAT number for your business, please add it in the left bottom field at the check out. We will verify the validity, and we will not collect taxes in that case.
e) If the delivery address is outside from the European Union, we will not collect taxes.
